Dubai: An Iranian drone strike on Saturday struck the 23 Marina Tower in Dubai’s Marina district, igniting a fire and sending thick smoke into the sky, according to media reports. The attack is following a series of missile and drone attacks launched by Tehran in retaliation for US-Israeli strikes on 28 February.
Residents of the building, which is located in Dubai's iconic Creek Harbour area, were evacuated and Dubai Civil Defence teams doused the fire.
