The second Android 16 beta build is available today. Like the first one, Android 16 Beta 2 still doesn't look like it'll have much for non-developer enthusiasts to chew on, but it does feature a number of behind-the-scenes tweaks that'll inform the Android experience in the months and years to come.

Android 16 Beta 2 is here for Pixel devices. It brings camera and media updates, including hybrid auto-exposure and Ultra HDR enhancements.

This new build has a few notable changes, although the biggest ones are centered around the Camera app. New auto-exposure and color temperature adjustment controls (finally!) ought to get mobile photographers excited.

With Android 16 Beta 2, Google is upgrading the camera app framework with a hybrid exposure system, and granular controls for color temperature and tint levels.

Photographers will have more control while using auto-exposure and can make precise adjustments to color temperature.

Last month, developers (and those prepared to be Google guinea pigs) got their first taste of Android 16 with the first beta. Now, just under a month after release, the second beta is here, complete with bug fixes and some nice new features to enjoy.
