Nearly 10 million pounds of meat and poultry produced at a BrucePac plant and shipped all over the country between June and October may be contaminated with listeria monocytogenes, the USDA said.

A company is recalling nearly 10 million pounds of meat and poultry made at an Oklahoma plant because the products may be contaminated with listeria bacteria.

BrucePac, a producer of ready-to-eat meat and poultry items, has recalled more than 9.9 million pounds of product due to possible listeria contamination, the US Department of Agriculture announced on Wednesday.
