A pair of Toronto Maple Leafs fans found out about Philadelphia's reputation in the hardest way possible on Tuesday night.

Craig Berube has slowly been cutting the ice time of veteran Leafs forward Ryan Reaves, which has led many to speculate that his time in Toronto is ending.

Auston Matthews and John Tavares each had a goal and an assist to lead the Toronto Maple Leafs to their fifth straight win, 3-2 over the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday night. Matthew Knies tallied the go-ahead goal with 6:39 remaining to help the Maple Leafs sweep a home-and-home set with Philadelphia.

Goalie: Belfour's stint with the Maple Leafs was impactful even though it lasted just three seasons (2002-03 to 2005-06). He had 17 shutouts, most of any Toronto goalie in the quarter century. He's also second in wins since 2000 with 93, trailing only Frederik Andersen (149), who played 98 more games.

If not Schenn, the Leafs could pursue David Savard, the muscly Montreal Canadiens defender playing on an expiring contract ($3.5 million cap hit). He fits the meat-and-potatoes prototype, but the Leafs still can’t be sure he’ll be comfortable playing next to Rielly.

The Flyers' perpetually awful power play and declining penalty kill were mostly to blame in Tuesday's loss to the Maple Leafs.
