AEW CEO Tony Khan keeps teasing that an announcement is coming. Tony Khan announced that TBS had given AEW their biggest overrun ever for the October 2 episode of AEW Dynamite. He also noted that this would not be the only announcement today.

AEW Dynamite is moving to Tuesday night (Oct. 8) next week thanks to the Major League Baseball playoffs, and the show will have a special start time of 9 pm ET on TBS. That means AEW and WWE NXT will be going head-to-head against each other for about one hour.

Ahead of WBD announcing a new rights deal with AEW, Tony Khan took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce that TBS was giving the show its "longest overrun ever."

Tony Khan says he’ll be making an announcement before Wednesday’s fifth-anniversary episode of AEW Dynamite. Taking to Twitter, the AEW President hyped an announcement and also revealed that the show will feature an overrun. He wrote,
