CNN’s Fareed Zakaria GPS delved into America’s first direct strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities—targeting sites at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan—as part of a broader U.S.-backed campaign following extensive Israeli bombings earlier in the month.

In an address to the IAEA Board of Governors on 23 June, Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi, said: “We are meeting today in the midst of a serious conflict, involving three IAEA Member States, during which Iran’s nuclear sites are coming under attack.

The future of Iran’s nuclear program will depend in part on the extent of the damage from the U.S. attacks and Tehran’s negotiating position in the coming days.
