Behind another strong Sabrina Ionescu performance, the shorthanded New York Liberty fought their way back into the win column against the Las Vegas Aces.

Sabrina Ionescu paced five double-figure scorers for the Liberty (13-6) with 28 points, eight rebounds and eight assists, her third straight game with at least 20, five and five, tied for the second-longest streak in WNBA history.

Ionescu’s torrid start to July continued Tuesday night. She led the Liberty to a hard-fought 87-78 win against the Aces, who played the second half without star A’ja Wilson, who suffered a wrist injury.
