Students at a sixth form college have described the opportunity to develop video games for a major games console as "absolute madness". The teenagers at Cambridge Regional College will be some of the youngest people in the UK to be allowed to do so for the Nintendo Switch.

In 2018, Nintendo invited me to a meeting in New York City to see a mysterious new initiative. It was teased as an “interactive experience for Nintendo Switch,” which sent my mind to all sorts of places.

Nintendo is working to take down images of its new unannounced Switch game after the internet — as expected — leaked it online. Earlier this month, Nintendo asked those who successfully signed up for its then mysterious Switch Online Playtest not to reveal what it is once it went live.
