Mariah Carey is still in the business of carrying out her own tributes, and did so at the American Music Awards 50th Anniversary Special on Sunday (Oct. 6).

Mariah Carey embraced old Hollywood glamour while performing during the American Music Awards 50th Anniversary Special on Sunday in Los Angeles. The legendary artist, who is the recipient of 10 AMAs, sang a medley of hits from her 10th album, “The Emancipation of Mimi,” which celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2025.

Mariah Carey, Brad Paisley, Jennifer Lopez and more A-list musicians have been announced as performances and special guests that will appear at American Music Awards' 50th Anniversary Special. The anniversary special will feature performances to honor the history of American music and the AMAs.

The American Music Awards 50th Anniversary Special is set to air on October 6, at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT) on CBS and streaming on Paramount+. As for what the two-hour show will entail, performers were just announced.

In the U.S., the "American Music Awards' 2024 50th Anniversary Special will run on CBS and stream on Paramount Plus concurrently on both coasts of the United States at 8-10 p.m. ET/ 5-7 p.m. PT on Sunday, October 6 .
