The Boston Bruins fell to the New Jersey Devils by a 5-1 final score on Jan. 22. It was one of the Bruins' worst games of the season, as they were outplayed in every area of the ice. Following the game, Bruins forward Morgan Geekie got real about his and his teammates play in the club's embarrassing loss to New Jersey.

Things came apart in a hurry in the middle frame. The Bruins didn’t react well to two calls against them that they didn’t like and the Devils took advantage delivering an early knockout blow. They became the latest struggling team to get right against Boston, beating the Bruins, 5-1, Wednesday at the Prudential Center in Newark.
