Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz topped Netflix’s charts this week with their new spy movie, “Back in Action.” Deadline reports that from January 13 to 19, the film garnered an impressive 46.8 million views,

"Back in Action," which debuted Jan. 17, was viewed 46.8 million times from its release date through Jan. 19, Netflix said Tuesday. "Back in Action," which also stars Jamie Foxx, earned the best opening weekend for an English language film on Netflix since “The Adam Project” in March of 2022, Variety reported.

The action-comedy overcame more than the usual amount of hurdles on the way to the screen, all the way up to its New York premiere being canceled in solidarity with the troubling times in Los Angeles.
