Paige Bueckers is set to make her highly anticipated WNBA regular-season debut. Expectations are high for Bueckers, who was picked by the Dallas Wings No. 1 overall in the 2025 draft after an impressive collegiate career at UConn.
Once the ball was tipped, Bueckers proceeded to assist on the first three Dallas buckets of the night. She then hit back-to-back jumpers to spot the Wings an 11-5 lead as she scored or assisted on each of Dallas' first five field goals. By halftime, she had 15 points, five rebounds and four assists, and the Wings were in control with a 56-42 lead.
